Daily schedule
Our daily schedule offers time for children to participate in both group activities and independent child choice activities.
1. Morning circle:
The regular day at Sheldon hours are from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Monday to Friday.
2. Prayer/Exercise time:
A variety of developmentally appropriate activities that encourage learning in all areas of development, as well as a teacher facilitated activity.
3. Curriculum Based Activities
At Sheldon, activities are based on monthly theme aligned with the program.
4. Tummy Time:
At Sheldon, nutritious meals are provided as per meal menu.Children begin snack with hand washing and participate in serving and clean-up.
5. Rhymes/Life Skill Activities :
Activities include show and tell, music and movement, class discussions and group games. Most importantly this is a time for children to share information with others, practice listening and waiting skills, and participate in a large group.
6. Outdoor/Indoor Play time:
Playtime really incorporates the child’s whole life. It allows preschool children to take experiences from one area and apply them in a new way. This gives them the ability to process information in new and interesting ways.. This gives them the ability to process information in new and interesting ways.
7. Dispersal Time:
Children gather personal items, receive handouts and wait at the dining area for dismissal.
